Continue your visit at the Musée de l’Orangerie to discover Monet’s famous Water Lilies

From the Musée d’Orsay, cross the Seine to reach the magnificent Tuileries Gardens where the Musée de l’Orangerie is located. Also dedicated to Impressionism, this museum is notable for housing eight of the famous “Water Lilies” paintings by Claude Monet. The works cover the walls of two large oval rooms, whose lighting and layout have been perfectly designed to accommodate the unconventional dimensions of the canvases.
